Australia’s digital media landscape seems kind of extra given the size of our population. But Australians are tech-savvy early adopters with some of the highest technology uptake rates in the world. We’ve got smartphone penetration of more than 70% and 87% of the Australian population connected to the internet with 93% of internet users online every day. So we don’t need to tell you that brands without a digital strategy really are dinosaurs. But it’s one thing knowing you need a digital strategy and another thing entirely getting one that delivers a real return on investment. With all the options available to reach Australia’s internet population, serious homework is required to build a comprehensive and cost-effective strategy.
